Tacteo outdoor bats are manufactured using bi-injection. Between two production runs of different colored models, cleaning time for the mold and the press sleeve is necessary to purge the previous material. During this cleaning phase, some units come off the production line with imperfect coloring (variegated colors). Some bats have slight brown marks or faded colors. These represent the majority of the downgraded bats sold as second choice.

To avoid waste and allow as many people as possible to use high-quality products, downgraded bats in the second-choice category are sold at a 30% discount.
